Homestay Guest Guideline
Guest Guidelines and Policies at La Address Retreat Pvt. Ltd.
Check-In/Check-Out:
- Check-in 12 PM IST and Check-out 10:30 AM IST
- Identity Proof: Guests are requested to bring along with them any one of the following Identity Proofs – PAN Card, Driver’s License (for Indian nationals) or Passport and valid Visa (for foreigners). Management reserves the right to refuse check-in in the absence of a valid identification document.
- For early check-in, guests need to inform us in advance, and we will do our best to accommodate your request. However, early check-in requests are subject to availability.
- Late check-in (beyond 9:00 PM IST) will incur an additional charge of INR 1000/- to cover the costs associated with preparing the accommodation outside the standard check-in times. “We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in adhering to the designated timings.
- The standard check-out time is 10:30 AM. We understand that sometimes plans may vary, and to accommodate this, we offer a buffer time until 11:00 AM without any additional charge. However, beyond 11:00 AM, a full day charge will be applicable as per the room tariff.
Guest Capacity
- The number of guests at La Address Retreat Pvt. Ltd. should not exceed the specified limit unless prior arrangements have been made with us/La Address management.
La Address Retreat Stay Guidelines
- Room service will be available on request between 9:00 AM and 9:00 PM IST only.
- House-keeping services are scheduled to be provided after the 3rd night of your stay. If you have any specific preferences or requests regarding housekeeping, please feel free to communicate them with us.
- Kindly cooperate in placing used plates/glasses/cups outside your room after having your meals to ensure efficient and prompt housekeeping services.
- Kitchen will be closed for service at 9:00 PM IST.
- No playing loud music beyond 9:30 PM.
- Respect your host’s home. Kindly maintain neatness and hygiene adequately.
- Loud music or noise in the common rooms is prohibited as a mark of comfort of other guests.
- Any misconduct during your stay which breaches the terms and conditions of La Address Retreat Pvt. Ltd. will be reported to the police.
- You are solely responsible for any consequences, losses, or damages that we may directly or indirectly incur or suffer due to any unauthorized activities conducted by you.o It is illegal to threaten, defame, abuse, harass, degrade, intimidate or use explicit language.
- La Address Retreat Pvt. Ltd. will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or exemplary loss or damages which may be incurred by you as a result of using our Resources
Meal Options and Charges
- Our complimentary breakfast offering is provided as part of your stay. Breakfast for the day will be served at the dining area from 7:00 AM to 10:00 AM only. Should you wish to order anything beyond the complimentary breakfast, kindly note that additional items will be chargeable.
- Meals for lunch (Veg./Non-Veg) will be provided at an additional charge. Dinner (Veg./Non-Veg) can also be ordered from our menu options for the day and pricing.
- Orders for both lunch and dinner be placed at least 4 hours before the designated mealtime. This allows our staff to prepare and deliver your meals with the utmost care and consideration.
Smoking, Alcohol and Substance Use
- Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the room. Smoking is allowed outside the rooms only.
- Alcohol consumption is permitted within the confines of your room and designated garden sit-out areas. Kindly refrain from consuming alcohol in common areas, including but not limited to, the living area, dining areas, and hallway.
- The use of ILLEGAL substances is strictly prohibited on the premises.
Environmental Responsibility: Waste Segregation
- Kindly segregate waste responsibly, to contribute to the local efforts in waste management and help preserve the natural beauty of Ooty.
- As part of our commitment to environmental sustainability and in compliance with Nilgiris laws, we kindly request you to refrain from bringing small sized use-and-throw plastic bottles or plastic carry bags to our homestay. We aim to contribute to the preservation of Nilgiris natural haven.
Damage Policy
- Damage to the property is the responsibility of the guest. It includes any damage caused by negligence or recklessness.
- Any intentional damage to the property will result in the guest asking to leave immediately and may be subject to legal action.
- Guests are expected to adequately maintain the property and leave it in the same condition as when they arrived.
- It includes : o Not smoking indoors.o Not causing any damage to furniture or fixtures or fittings.o Not leaving any food or garbage behind.
- If any damage does occur, the guest is responsible for fixing it or paying for the repairs.
Garden Etiquette: Protecting Our Flora
Avoid Damage
Kindly refrain from causing any harm to the plants, including bending, breaking, or uprooting them.
Respect the Plant Life
We request guests not to pluck flowers, leaves from the garden. Let them bloom and enhance the overall ambiance for everyone to enjoy.
Proper Disposal of Cigarette Butts
If you are a smoker, we ask that you refrain from tossing cigarette butts into the garden. Instead, we encourage you to ask our staff for ashtrays, which are available upon request. This will help us protect our garden from potential fire hazards and maintain cleanliness.
